This was truly beautiful, James. Thank you for writing this. I just observed Qing Ming and visited my mother's grave this week for the first time since the pandemic started, and have been thinking about mothers and legacies all this week. You bring forward important lessons about organizing and the invisible work some scholars call "social reproduction"-- or these days, care work-- so well, and you contextualize them with such a generosity of spirit. What a beautiful, galvanizing tribute.

This is a powerful and thought provoking article. This helps to empower all and yet realign our movement's focus on how organizing should be shaped and led.
